About the Event
Mindfulness is not something we’re born with. It’s a state, as opposed to a trait. Therefore, it is something we can learn and incorporate into our daily lives!!
Through learning and cultivating a regular meditation practice, working within the framework of the body and training of attention, one can develop a state of awareness, and the experience being truly present to each moment.
Research supports the achievement of many noticeable benefits including; managing stress, enhanced communications, the management of pain and regulation of emotions, reduced anxiety and builds resilience - and many more. 💫
Over 4 weeks you will learn the fundamentals and techniques to develop a meditation practice of your own - that you can return to, and begin again every day.

Renée trained as an actor at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School. Performing professionally through the country, her skills and talent further extend to directing, producing, coaching and working within the communications industry.
Her own personal contemplative practices of mindfulness, yoga and meditation, have provided the platform to advocate and create supportive working environments, leading to the implementation of wellbeing practices and personal development programmes.
Renée has collaborated with groups and individuals across all levels of the entertainment, corporate and business worlds, focusing on transformational experiences, empowerment and transformation of workspaces. Teaching emotional intelligence, how to cultivate connection, confidence, courage, presence, empathy, building resilience and fostering a growth and development of individuals, all shooting for the same goal. Aiding people to communicate truthfully, authentically and effectively.
She has worked with leading global practitioners, to further her own practice and learnings. Most recently she has completed training with SIYLI as a Teacher Trainer of the Mindfulness Based Business Leadership Programme and awaiting final certification. (SIYLI - Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute - was the initiative originally designed and developed for Google).
